The American Naprapathic Association
(ANA) is the nation's oldest and largest association of Naprapaths. Founded in 1907, the ANA is a non-profit organization whose members are dedicated to protecting, preserving, promoting and expanding the manual
medicine discipline of Naprapathy in all of its endeavors.
Membership is open
to all individuals with a Doctor of
Naprapathy (D.N.) degree or who is otherwise licensed to practice Naprapathy in their State. There are also affiliated memberships and student memberships available. All of our members have a strong
commitment to the philosophy, art and science of manual medicine and sound holistic nutritional advice.
Membership in this
organization provides a multitude of benefits. First and foremost, the ANA monitors and fights legislation that could
limit you from practicing your profession.
February 2010 UPDATE
NEW BOARD MEMBERS
The ANA is very proud to present our new board president, Dr. James Kearns, DN., who took over his new duties on January 1st, 2010. We are all sad to see Dr. Sharon Devita, DN step down as President. She will be returning for further educational pursuits and she has led the ANA honorably for the past 2 years. In addition, long time board member Dr. Joseph Kosar DN, Elaine Polley DN and Susan Trice DN are also stepping down.
Dr. Kearns brings with him a new vision for the profession and hopes to breathe a brand new vitality into this historic association. He has a thriving practice in Woodstock and will bring his many years of experience and successful business practices to his new position.
In addition to our welcoming in a new president, there are several new board members, including Dr Daryl Newman DN, Dr. Rick Bisceglie DN, and Dr Robert Manfredini DN who will be joining the organization. Dr. Daniel E Varanauski DN will be taking over as Vice-President, Dr Lisa Gold DN will take over as secretary and Dr Jacqueline DeBerard will be treasurer. Please wish the outgoing a fond farewell with us and offer a warm welcome to the new team!
There will also be some shifting of positions in order to accommodate these changes and help be more efficient at meeting our organizational needs and the needs of the membership ranks. The launch of this new website highlights the revitalization and commitment of the ANA to assist it's members in meeting all challenges in the near and distant future.
